In memory of a good friend

Pet Memorial Poem Plaques

Begin with an everyday moment — the greeting at the door, their spot on the couch, or a familiar walk — and what they meant to you. Shape those memories into a poem, pair it with a meaningful photo, and make a pet memorial plaque keepsake in your own time.

Best for remembering dogs, cats, and long-companion pets, and as a sympathy gift for a friend who just said goodbye.

Poetry plaque design for In memory of a good friend In memory of a good friend
  • Write to them the way you always talked to them
  • Add your favorite photo — the goofy one counts
  • Preview the keepsake in your own time before ordering

Finding the Words

Write like you talked to them: their nicknames, the spot they claimed, the sound of the leash, the last good day. A pet poem does not need to be solemn to be true — the small habits are what you will want written down.

A Gentle Design

A clear photo of their face, soft natural backgrounds, or the park you walked together all suit a pet memorial. Their name and years sit gently in a line beneath the poem.

Questions

Before you start

Can I write it for any kind of pet?

Yes. Dogs, cats, horses, birds — the poem is yours, and the guided draft can start from whatever you loved about them.

Can I include their name and years?

Yes. Names, years, and a short line like “the best boy” fit naturally beneath the poem in the editor.

What sizes and finishes can I order?

PlakYourPoem prints on canvas, hardboard plaque, and acrylic. Canvas and hardboard come in 5x7 and 8x10 inch sizes; acrylic is offered as an 8x10 inch wall print.

How much does a plaque cost?

The price depends on the size and finish you pick, and shipping to the US and Canada is included. All prices are in CAD, and you will see the exact price in the editor before checkout, with no charge until you place the order.

Where do you ship?

PlakYourPoem ships to addresses in the United States and Canada.

How long does production and delivery take?

Production and delivery typically take about two to three weeks. Timing is an estimate and can vary.

Write it once. Keep it close.

Bring your own words or start from a draft, add a photo, and see the finished keepsake before you pay.
